About Morzine Mountain Co-operative
We are all Mountain Professionals that live and work in the Morzine area.
We have joined forces so that we can offer a wider range of outdoor experiences whilst still working independently.
All members of the co-operative are independent instructors (Micro Entrepreneurs) and hold appropriate qualifications and insurance for the activities we offer.
We are required to be registered and individually are members of at least one of the following associations:

About
Claude Augras
Claude is a certified mountain guide and has lived in the mountains around Morzine and Les Gets all his life.
He has an in-depth knowledge of flora and fauna and offers several types of mountain experiences.
He organizes the "Trapper's Meal" which will be prepared with you in the mountains, using fresh products from the pastures and mountain plants picked on the way, around a campfire at the top, under the stars.
He will also accompany you for the “PARLEZ” hikes, where you can practice and improve your English / French while hiking in a Natura 2000 classified site.

Jason & Vivien Day
Jason is a Geography teacher, International Mountain Leader, Forest Schools practitioner and First Aid instructor.
Specialising in bushcraft, mountaineering and navigation. Jason is our survival skills, first aid and wildlife expert
Viv is a qualified International Mountain Leader and her main aim is to give you a fun, enjoyable day out.
She is an all round mountain expert will be leading our cheese and nature hikes and has a huge passion for Alpine flowers.
They specialise in bushcraft, nature & hiking to mountain tops & are both Snowshoe guides
Paddy Morris
Paddy is an International Mountain Leader who specialises in longer, higher, further and faster. An avid trail runner, he is the founder of the Morzine Three Peaks Challenge, as well as longer adventures such as a 6,000km trek from London to Asia!
He is an ISTD ski instructor in winter, with a bias towards ski-touring.

Simone Simpson
Simone is an International Mountain Leader who is also qualified in Orienteering, Wilderness Survival & Philosophy of nature, Mindfullness and Shinrin Yoku (forest bathing). She is also a Sport & Health Education teacher,
Simone has run her own business here in Morzine for 6yrs and now focuses on Nature Connection and journeying in the mountains to improve health.
Simone is one of the coordinators of the Morzine Summer Wellness Programme.

Veronique Fillon
Veronique is a local. She is an Accompagnateur Moyenne Montagne and knows every part of our Morzine mountains. She is very knowledgeable on the local flora and fauna.
She owns La Tapiaz mountain restaurant at Col d'Encrenaz, a great place to stop for a refreshing summer drink or where you can go for a night hikes followed by a traditional Savoyard meal and a sing song with Claude on guitar.
